The northern Camino goes through several larger cities with their own airport, this gives many option on where to start your camino.
You have the option to fly into Biarritz in France, and take the train down to Henday, and walk across the river to Irun, or fly into the airport of San Sebastian, which is located in Irun, or the airport of Bilbao, or Santander.
Or you can simply fly into Madrid and take the train up. But make sure to book the train ticket in advance, trains
